Raoul Joseph Laurent, Jr. CPO USN RET. 80 years old, left this world on May 26, 2016 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Born Sunday, July 28 1935 in Gramercy, LA. Resident of Destrehan, LA for 49 years. Presently a resident of Ponchatoula, La. Beloved husband of Carolyn Irma Vedros for 57 years. Son of the late Raoul Joseph Laurent and Beunice Gaeta Cambre. He is survived by his children, Paul Jude Laurent, Suzanne Cheree Laurent Grayson (Steve), and Raoul Joseph Laurent, III (Julie). Grandchildren; Virginia Suzanne Grayson Pansano (Kenny), Scott James Grayson, Dylan Andrew Grayson (Lindsay), Elise Solange Laurent, Logan Raoul Laurent and Cheyenne Renee Laurent and greatgrandchild Taylor Lynn Grayson. Preceded in death by son, Rene' Philip Laurent and daughter-in-law Annette Giglio Laurent. Survived by his brother Donald Lee Joseph Laurent (Janet) of DeRidder, LA.

Celine Musgrove

Celine Musgrove, 104, passed away June 2, 2016. She was born in the St. Charles Community of Raceland, on November 18, 1911 to her parents, Louise and Ozemé Ledet. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Musgrove; her brothers, Alcide and Raoul Ledet; and sisters, Annette L. Waguespack, Beatrice L. Pfeiffer, Louisiana L. Basset, Gladys L. Navarre and Florence L. Constant. She will be dearly missed by her devoted caretakers, Barbara Navarre Hebert (niece) and Sonya Hebert Roussel (great-niece) and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thanks to the staff of Chateau St. James and Hospice Compassus for their loving care. Celine taught elementary school in New Orleans for many years. She loved her students. She was a strong, independent woman and caregiver to her sister for many years. She loved working in her flower garden and celebrating holidays with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Hazel Marchand Schaubhut, a lifelong resident of Lutcher, LA, born October 4, 1914 passed away, May 28, 2016. The wife of the late Murvin Schaubhut, she is survived by her children; Lawrence Schaubhut (Cynthia), and Darwin S. Martin, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Wanda Luquette, and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her children; Gail Schaubhut, Wayne Schaubhut, and Carolyn S. Hartley. She is also preceded by her sons-in-law, Ross Martin, Bobby Gene Hartley and 7 brothers and sisters. The family would like to thank the staff of Chateau St. James for their loving care over the years. Relatives and friends were invited to attend a visitation at H.C. Mary Theresa Adams, age 84, a native of Vacherie and resident of Lutcher, peacefully left this earth on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at her residence. Visiting was Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Catholic Church in Vacherie, Louisiana. Burial in the church cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memories, 3 sisters, Melvina and Dorothy Adams and Agnes Dumas; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Francesca “Frances” Navarra Falgoust, a lifelong resident of Garyville, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2016 at the age of 93. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lee “Pete” Falgoust and her parents, Epifanio Navarra and Anna Sagona Navarra, and her sisters Marie Guidry, Vita Monica, Clara Oubre, and Catherine Oubre. A loving and devoted mother of Debbie Poché, Dawn Dottolo, Armant Falgoust, Mary Falgoust, and daughter-in-law Donna Falgoust, she is also survived by nine grandchildren: Al Poché (Lesley), Duffy Dottolo (Amanda), Ross, Rhett, and Reggie Poché, Sommer Naquin (Paul), Dexter Falgoust (Paige), Jade Falgoust (Candace), and Peyton Falgoust and four great-grandchildren: Liam, Myles, Blaze, and Lucas and a step great-granddaughter, Hélène Paxton. A devout parishioner of St. Hubert Catholic Church her entire life, she was a member of the Catholic Daughters and the Ladies Altar Society but was most passionately devoted to serving the St.

He was born to the Henry and Odealie Gibson of Vacherie, LA. Survived by his 6 sisters and 3 brothers: Shelia G. Roussell (Mervin); Valerie G. Simon (Clifford); & Charlene G. Hickerson of Vacherie, LA; Henry Gibson, III of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mary Gibson of Laplace, LA; Melanie G. Boudreaux (Ronald) and Cynthia G. Arnold of Gramercy, LA and Charles Chucky Gibson of New Orleans, LA. Numerous nieces, nephews, other siblings and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry (Bozo) Gibson and Odealia (Jean) Dumas Gibson; brother-in-law Willard Arnold; grandparents Albertha Williams and Henry Gibson, Sr.; John Earlis and Felma Sal Dumas all of Vacherie, LA. Mark was a Vietnam Veteran. Internment will be at the Southeast LA. Veteran Cemetary in Slidell, LA. on June 2, 2016.

Donald Joseph Blank, Sr., age 82, was born on September 23, 1933 and passed away peacefully on May 4, 2016. He was a native and resident of Gramercy, LA. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Gloria Abadie Blank; sons: Kelley Blank, Donald Blank, Jr. and wife Darlene; Jeremy Blank and companion Tammy; daughters: Carissima B. Torres and husband Bobby; Tammie B. Jenkins and husband Gordon; brother, Ferrell Blank, SJ; a sister, Doris Beadle and husband Dudley, as well as 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Donald was an avid hunter, fisherman, and had numerous hobbies. He was preceded in death by his parents Felix, Sr. and Lea Simon Blank and brothers, Ralph Blank, Barry Blank, and Felix Blank, Jr. Visitation was on Friday, May 6, 2016 at Rose Lynn Funeral Home, 1870 Cabanose Ave., Lutcher, LA from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation resumed on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Raymond "Capt. Buddy" Boudreaux , 64, a resident of Vacherie, LA was called to eternal rest on May 14, 2016. A visitation was held in his honor on Monday, May 23, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Vacherie, LA from 1:00 p.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 3:00 p.m. The burial will be at a later date in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Connie Boudreaux; four sons, Raymond Peter Boudreaux, III (Michele), Randy Paul Boudreaux Sr. (Kimberly), Reginald Phillip Boudreaux, Sr. (Mandy), Bryan Patrick Noel, Jr.; two daughters, Ashley Elizabeth Noel, Krystle Ann Noel (Michael); five sisters, Judy Mericle (Gary), Kathey Dufrene (Nolan Jr.), LaVern Bruce, Lorraine O'Neal (Thomas), Robin Coleman (Roger Sr.); brother, Austin Boudreaux Sr.(Dawn); sister in law, Lorretta Ray; 28 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Linda Lacour; 2 brother- in-laws; 1 sister-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hollie M. Bourgeois was born on December 24, 1978 and passed away at her hone on May 20, 2016 at the age of 37. She is survived by her beloved son, Nicholas Stout; her Mother Joan Louque Bourgeois; siblings: Myra B. Cambre, Wade Bourgeois, Leslie B. Jones, Claire Robicheaux, and Blane Bourgeois as well as her nieces and nephews: Denton, Kayla, and Landon Cambre; Trent, and Christopher Bourgeois; Matthew, Jenny, and Marc Detillier; Chase Weidert, and Brayden and Ashley Robicheaux. She was preceded in death by her father, Randall T. Bourgeois, Jr. She was an employee of Nucor and loved Mardi Gras, Christmas, and family gatherings. Her greatest joy was being a Mom to her son. Visitation was on Wednesday May 25, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, LA from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial followed in the church cemetery. ROSE LYNN FUNERAL SERVICES, 1870 Cabanose Ave., Lutcher, LA was in charge of the arrangements.

Isaac Michael Johnson, a retired supervisor of IMC Agrico, lost his battle with lung cancer on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Our Lady of The Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA at the age of 73.
