Isaac Michael Johnson, a retired supervisor of IMC Agrico, lost his battle with lung cancer on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Our Lady of The Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA at the age of 73. He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years Joan Ann Hayes Johnson, their daughters Talawanga Johnson-Burl (Ali) and Lakeisha Johnson-Manuel (Lajean), 2 granddaughters Asia Johnson and Aubrey Burl; his brothers Raymond Johnson (Gwendolyn) of Lutcher, LA; Edward Gene Johnson (Shirley) of Gonzales, LA; James Johnson of Port Allen, LA; Larry Johnson (Jewel) of Lutcher, LA; Charles Johnson(Alma) of Gramercy, LA and Arthur (Ruth) Brooks of Paulina, LA; Sisters Glorydine Harris of Lutcher, LA; Glenda Mae Diggs (Wilbert) of Severn, Maryland; Betty Jones and Yvonne Joseph of Lutcher, LA. Also survived by a devoted friend Dennis Johnson (Linda) of Gramercy, LA; Godchildren Sharonda Harris Bailey (Jimmy) of Stockbridge, Georgia; Brandon Pierre (Belinda) of Gonzales, LA and Terry Patterson of Bloomington, Minnesota; a  host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur, Sr and Rebecca Joseph Johnson; brother Arthur (Champ) Johnson, Jr. and first cousin Hank Johnson, who was reared as a brother; brothers in law Edward Folse, Calvin Hayes, Charlie Hayes, Henry Hayes, Linton Joseph and Percy Kirklin; sisters in law Gladys Hayes, Marie Hayes, Kathleen Johnson and Patricia Taylor; neice DeAnn Johnson; nephew Irvin Hayes and GodParents Norwood and Annie BellJoseph. Employees of IMC Agrico and The Town of Lutcher; relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the funeral services at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2130  Rectory St. Paulina LA 70763 on Saturday May 7, 2016 at 11 a.m. Visitation was from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Hobson Brown Funeral  Home, Garyville, LA was in charge of the arrangements.
