Ann Labat Chauvin was born in Vacherie, LA on September 19, 1919. She was a native of Convent, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge for the last 24 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. (Tut) Chauvin; parents Dasise J. Labat and Angelle Oubre Labat and 4 brothers. She is survived by her 3 children: Carolyn (Warren) Richard of Marrero, LA, Jerry (Anna) Chauvin of Prairieville, LA, and Brenda (Mark) Gremillion of Baton Rouge, LA; 6 grandchildren: Warren Richard, Jr., Cindy Distefano, Melissa Sullivan, Chad Chauvin, Todd Chauvin, and Steven Gremillion as well as 5 great-grandchildren: Ellis Distefano, Jane Marie Sullivan, Caleb Chauvin, Amelia Chauvin, and Preston Chauvin. She is also survived by her sisters, Rose Mae Schexnayder, and Una Dugas both of Convent, LA. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Landmark for their loving care and concern. Visitation was on Monday, August 22, 2016 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Convent, LA from 9:30 a.m.

Eileen Schaubhut Hymel passed away peacefully at the age of 78 on August 23, 2016. She is survived by her children: Kenny (Terrie) Hymel, Tammy (Ronald “R.J.”) St. Pierre, and Gina (Chris) Duhe as well as her grandchildren: Jonathon (Michelle) Hymel, Maria (Walter) Lambert, Joey (Lindsey) St. Pierre, Corey(Erin) St. Pierre, Hope and Tori Hymel, Cody and Carter Duhe and great grandchildren: Ethan, Abigail, Madelyn, Layla, Myla, Grayson, Aubree, and Colton. She is also survived by her sister, Geraldine Schaubhut McCauley, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Hymel, Sr.; parents, Johnny and Osciana Schaubhut, a sister, JoAnn Madere and two grandsons, Derek and Michael Hymel. The family would like to thank her sitters, Linda and Easter and her special caregiver, Sukie for taking the best care of her. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at St.

Audrey Weber Keller, a life long resident of Gramercy, LA passed away peacefully Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the age of 76. She was the loving wife of Leon A. Keller, Sr. and mother of her sons and daughters-in-law: Leon Keller, Jr. (Darlene), Kelly Keller (Tracy), and Wade Keller (Tina Burgess); her grandchildren: Hailey K. Bennett (Branden), Leon Keller, III (Kimberly), Cody Keller, Jacob Keller, Logan Keller, and Mackenzie Howard. She was also the great-grandmother of Brooks Paul Bennett. She is also survived by her siblings: O’Neal Weber, Jr. (Stella), Barry Weber (Carolyn), Joellyn Hebert (Don), and Nathan Weber, (Teeka). She was preceded in death by her parents, Mazie Roussel and O’Neal J. Weber, Sr., and a brother, Lee John Weber. She enjoyed playing the piano, crocheting, LSU football, and camping. She was a member of the 3 L’s and a devoted pianist for the Sacred Heart Choir and adorer at the adoration chapel. The family would like to thank Dr.

Therese Babin Kliebert was born on February 5, 1921 and passed away on August 4, 2016 at the age of 95. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Kliebert, Sr.; son, Lloyd J. Kliebert, Sr.; parents, Adelard Sr. and Edna Babin; brothers, Lewis Babin, Oscar Babin, Alvyn “Perrin” Babin, Adelard Babin, Jr., and sister, Edna Tilford. She is survived by her son, Clarence “C.J.” Kliebert (Jean); daughter, Joan K. Melancon (E.J.), and daughter-in-law, Sheila Oubre Kliebert. She is also survived by her loving and devoted caregiver, Brenda Bourgeois as well as her 8 grandchildren: Ed and Matt Melancon, L.J., Ryan, and Michael Kliebert; Lisa Gaspar, Kristi Griffith, and Laurie Couch; 5 great-grandchildren: David and Preston Valentine, Adriana and Siera Couch, and Mikel and Jon Gaspar and 2 great-great grandchildren: Livingston Griffin and Ryder Kliebert. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, former member of AARP, RSVP, and teacher of religion.

Eli Gaston “Pop” Laiche, was born to Wilfred and Edna Laiche on August 11, 1924 and died peacefully in his sleep on July 31, 2016. He married the late Audrey Lafont Laiche on November 15, 1946. He is survived by his children: David Laiche (Linda), Elizabeth Laiche, Susan Laiche Curry (Donald), Lynn Laiche, Leslie Laiche Millet and his grandchildren: Deanna David (Scoot), Paula Lazenby (Ron), Kimberly Burrow (Doug), Erica Curry, Amanda Millet; his great grandchildren: Miranda Rilat and Mason Eli David, and Godchild Carol Smith. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Wilfred Laiche, Jr., Alvin Laiche, Wallace Laiche, Anicet Laiche, Otis Laiche and Harold Laiche as well as his sisters: Elva Laiche Zemer, Evelyn Arceneaux, and Elsie Laiche LeBlanc, and a son-in-law Derik Millet. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943-1945 in WWII with the 16th Armored Cavalry (France, Belgium, Holland, and Germany).

Terrance Joseph Falgoust, 99, a native and resident of Vacherie, Louisiana passed away on July 29, 2016. He is survived by his three sons, Terry Falgoust, Kenneth Falgoust, Eric Falgoust and wife, Reasa; daughter, Cynthia Falgoust; ten grandchildren, Melissa Alleman, Terry Falgoust, Jr., Chris Falgoust, Jeremy Cortez, Wesley Cortez, Joshua Falgoust, Jessica Bruno, Cody Falgoust, Dustin Falgoust, and Hunter Falgoust; and seventeen  great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabel B. Falgoust; two sisters, Ida Lasserre and Genevieve Zatarian; three brothers, Edmond Falgoust, Oneil Falgoust, Lynn Falgoust; and two daughters-in-law, Betty Falgoust and Rebecca Falgoust. A visitation was held in his honor on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace Church, Vacherie, Louisiana from 7:30 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. The burial followed in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Vacherie, Louisiana.
