Mark Stephen Gibson

Mark Stephen Gibson, a native of Vacherie, LA and a resident of Burbank, California, passed away on March 15, 2016 at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. He was born to the Henry and Odealie Gibson of Vacherie, LA. Survived by his 6 sisters and 3 brothers: Shelia G. Roussell (Mervin); Valerie G. Simon (Clifford); & Charlene G. Hickerson of Vacherie, LA; Henry Gibson, III of Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mary Gibson of Laplace, LA; Melanie G. Boudreaux (Ronald) and Cynthia G. Arnold of Gramercy, LA and Charles Chucky Gibson of New Orleans, LA. Numerous nieces, nephews, other siblings and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Henry (Bozo) Gibson and Odealia (Jean) Dumas Gibson; brother-in-law Willard Arnold; grandparents Albertha Williams and Henry Gibson, Sr.; John Earlis and Felma Sal Dumas all of Vacherie, LA. Mark was a Vietnam Veteran. Internment will be at the Southeast LA. Veteran Cemetary in Slidell, LA. on June 2, 2016.
