Gage Gill led the Lutcher Boys to first place at the Crawfish Aquatics Swim Meet last Saturday. Gill placed first in the 50 free and 100 free.

Excitement was in the air last Thursday when the St. James Wildcats kicked off the 2016 prep season with a jamboree against Donaldsonville. All was well as the Wildcats came from behind to win 28-12 at Floyd Boutte Stadium in Donaldsonville.

Making Football Safer Than Ever

The National Football Foundation (NFF) and College Hall of Fame announced recently that it has distributed a set of guidelines, created with feedback from the American Coaches Association (AFCA) that will help more than 150,000 high school coaches to inform parents about their efforts to make their football programs safer than ever.

Wildcats Have Positive Moments In Scrimmage

The St. James Wildcat football team got the better of it with six touchdowns and just allowed one during their fall scrimmage against the Patterson High Lumberjacks played at Wildcat Stadium last week. Stealing the show was Wildcat quarterback Lowell Narcisse who threw three touchdown passes and rushed for another to lead St. James. Teammate Curtlan Johnson scored three times with two pass receptions and a rushing TD.
