Alcee J. “Driller” Louque Jr.

Alcee J. “Driller” Louque Jr. joined his loving wife, Elnora Chiasson Louque in Heaven on December 7, 2015. He is survived by his children; Brent Louque (Lana), Dwayne Louque (Cynthia), Lisa L. Decareaux (David), Irvin Louque, Sr. (Celeste), and Jason Louque (Debbie Barre). Grandchildren; Brent Jr., Dana, Jonathan, Lance, Jordan, Kara, Cary, Misty, Irvin Jr., and Brandon Bourgeois. He is also survived by one sister, Annabelle Bourgeois, 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and family members. He is preceded in death by his parents; Louise Martin and Alcee Louque, Sr., and his siblings; Newton, Enola, Morris, Eunice, Melvin, John Wayne, and Gladys. Alcee was a kind man who would do anything for anyone; he will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him. The family wishes to thank the staff at Chateau St. James and Hospice Compassus for their care and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St.

Warren Anthony Waguespack, born August 21, 1948, said his final goodbye on December 4, 2015 surrounded by his loving wife and his four children. He was a native and resident of Paulina. He is preceded in death by his loving father, Robert Waguespack; his mother Hilda Martin Waguespack. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Deborah Louque Waguespack; his four children: Kaci Waguespack Ramirez, Kari Waguespack Behan, Macky Waguespack, and Britt Waguespack; his nine grandchildren: Jordin Jacob, Harli Jacob, Joei Jacob, Kai Ramirez, Easton Waguespack, Kali Ramirez, Anna Waguespack, Henli Behan and Baylor Waguespack; his loving daughter-in-law, Hallie Roussel Waguespack, and son-in-law, Dale Behan. He is also survived by his three siblings: Gerald Waguespack, Verlyn Waguespack LeBlanc, and Ruth Waguespack Snyder; special friends: Candy LeBlanc, Victoria Vicknair, Tony Milazzo, Kyle Milazzo and Matt Milazzo. Visitation was Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Ethel Deroche Zeringue, born August 17, 1927 in Lutcher, LA died December 3, 2015 at St. James Parish Hospital. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Ferrel Deroche, Dorothy Guillory, Harold Deroche, and Camille Roussel; parents, Ravoire L. Deroche and Palmyre Deslatte Deroche; husband, Norman “Tom” Zeringue. She is survived by her children: Norman and Debbie (Roussel) Zeringue, Jr., Brent and Joan (Keller) Zeringue, and Renee and Larry Waguespack, Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jennifer Zeringue, Kirk Zeringue, Ashley Zeringue Rousselle, Jessie Zeringue, Kassie Waguespack Luminais, Amanda Waguespack Faucheux, and Megan Waguespack as well as her great-grandchildren: Shelbi Zeringue, Brayden Rousselle, Ayden Luminais, Kasen Luminais, Averi Luminais, Skyler Zeringue, and Emalyn Faucheux. She is also member of the St. Ann Alter Society, the Catholic  Daughters, and St. Joseph Catholic Church. She worked for 60+ years for the Law Office and family of Rodney P.

Clarence Bazile

Clarence Bazile, a resident of Marrero, LA and native of Vacherie, LA, entered into eternal life with the Lord on November, 1, 2015 at the age of 84. He transitioned peacefully in his home where he was surrounded by the love, prayers and care of his devoted wife of 63 years, Helen Walker Bazile, and family. As a patriarch and provider, he sustained his family as a sandblaster and painter for over 25 years at Avondale and Wall shipyards. His legacy continues with strength in the hearts and lives of his wife, Helen, four daughters, Gilda Austin of Las Vegas, Nevada, Deadra Francis (Robin), Thais Wilson (Herman Jr.) and Sibyl Jefferson, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two greatgreat grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings Norman Armant (Irma), Jerry Williams, Joseph Armant, Margarine Bazile, Jaqueline Bazile, Sedona Stewart, Elvin Bazile Jr. (Jerralyn), and Brenda Rayford (Vernon), and a host of relatives of friends.

Jim Rooker was born on June 3, 1959, and passed away on November 5, 2015, at the age of 56. He was a native of Alabama and a life-long resident of Gramercy, LA. Jim was the youngest of seven children of George and Delores Rooker. He is survived by his partner of 16 years, Chris Kolman; his siblings: Edward E. Rooker (Kathy) of Athens, Alabama; Harold G. Rooker (Yonette) of Monroe, Georgia; Huey J. Rooker (Jane) of Guin, Alabama; Brenda R. Reeves of Decatur, Alabama; Curtis O. Rooker (Lauren) of Gainesville, Georgia and Randy L. Rooker (Mary) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews and fourteen great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Delores Rooker of Decatur, Alabama and his nephew, Rodney H. Rooker. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family. Visitation was held at Rose Lynn Funeral Services, 1870 Cabanose Ave., Lutcher, LA on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Frank “Spider” Calcagno

Frank “Spider” Calcagno, a native and resident of Gramercy, LA passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Southeast Louisiana War Veteran’s Home in Reserve, LA. He was 89 years old and born on June 6, 1926. He was a Navy Seabee and served in Okinawa in World War II. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Nettie Lee St. Pierre Calcagno. His children: Belinda C. Rouillier and husband Nelson; Craig Calcagno and wife Mary; Keith Calcagno, and Jodie C. Simon and husband Gregg. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve greatgrandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; his brothers Anthony Calcagno, and Steve Calcagno. He was preceded in death by his parents: Camille Guarneri Calcagno and Anthony Calcagno, Sr.; his brothers: Royal, Joseph, and Jake; his sisters: Frances Calcagno and Josephine C. Gondolfo.

Sheldon C. Miller

Sheldon C. Miller passed away on October 18, 2015 at the age of 66. He was a native of Reserve and a longtime resident of Maurepas. He is survived by his brother, Marvin J. Miller (Mary G. Miller). He was a member of the United States Marine Corps serving in the Vietnam War. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service and burial at St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve, LA on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Rose Lynn Funeral Services was in charge of the arrangements.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard “Stump” Ramagos; her parents: Caffery and Myrtle Roussel Hidalgo; sisters: Gertrude “Gert” Michel, Gertis Torres, Anna “Lucky” Sibley and Laura “Lolly” Guedry; brothers: Harris Paul Hidalgo, and Caffery “Jay” Hidalgo, and a granddaughter, Layla Martin.
