The St. James Lady Wildcat Basketball team is peaking at the right time tearing up the competition in District 10-3A play. The Lady Cats have utilized their speed and pressure defense to force  their opponents into numerous turnovers.

Freshman J. Smith scored 16 points, 4 rebounds, blocked 6 shots and had 1 steal in Lutcher's 61-59 victory over St. Katherine Drexel.

The Lutcher Bulldog Basketball team needed a layup by senior Brendon Taylor in the final seconds to clinch a 54-52 victory over McMain in a District 10-3A contest. Lutcher had to rally after leading at the half as McMain stepped up its pressure defense.

The St. James Lady Wildcat Basketball team continued to stay unbeaten in District 10-3A play after coming away with a pair of league wins over DeLaSalle and Lusher Charter School. Against DeLaSalle, the Lady Cats registered a 41-18 victory.

The Louisiana Senior Olympic Games were held in Lake Charles, LA. August 8th thru November 14, 2015. Participating for St. James Parish was David Gauthe, Sr. He won a total of 6 medals: 3rd Place Bronze in Baseball Distance, 3rd Place Bronze in Baseball Accuracy, 3rd Place Bronze in Shuffleboard Singles, 2nd Place Silver in Washer Pitch, 1st Place Gold in Frisbee Accuracy, and 1st Place Gold in Shuffleboard Doubles.
