Gators Hand Wildcats First Loss Of The Season

The St. James Wildcat football team suffered its first loss of the 2017 season when the St. Amant Gators registered a 41-27 non-district win.

The victory improves St. Amant to a perfect 5-0 on the year, while St. James fell to 4-1.

The visiting Gators had to withstand a fourth quarter rally by the Wildcats and needed a late-game pass interception to seal the deal.“
