Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxillary Celebrate 45-Year Anniversary

The Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Council #161 celebrated their 45th Anniversary on Saturday, March 18th. The ladies attended the 4:00 p.m. mass at Our Lady of Peace and then held a banquet following at the Good Children Hall.

The Ladies Auxiliary held its first initiation at Our Lady of Peace Church Hall on March 19, 1972. Deputy Lady Margaret Guidry presided. The founding officers were Shelia Domino, Grand Lady; Rita Jones, Vice Grand Lady; Joyce Dumas, Treasurer; Anita Baptiste, Financial Secretary; and Maxine Borne, Recording Secretary.
