100-year-old Once Crossed The River By Boat To Work At Colonial

Mrs. Inez Aubert was 100 years old on January 30, 2017. She wasn’t home for her big day. She wasn’t feeling well and spent a week with her daughter before going on to spend two weeks with her brother. While she was gone she received over 100 birthday cards from friends, relatives, fellow church members and people of the community.
“Getting to be 100 is a big deal for the community,” Inez said. “But it’s getting to be more and more common as people live longer.”
