Local Students To Receive Both High School And College Diplomas This May

By the time they receive their high school diploma this May, Breanna Bailey and Seantrell Lemar will already have an Associate Degree in General Studies from Nicholls State University.

These bright young people are among several St. James Parish students who are enrolled in both the Science and Math Academy (SMA) and Nicholls State University at the same time. Breanna, Seantrell and another student whose parent requested that their child not be included in this article, were the first to complete the Associate’s Degree program.
