Bulldogs Split Pair Of Games

The Lutcher Bulldog Basketball team split a pair of District 9-3A contests last week, beating Eleanor McMain and losing to De La Salle. Against McMain, the Bulldogs captured their first District win with a 90-62 win over the Mustangs. Lutcher jumped out to a 12-9 first quarter lead and then outscored McMain 22- 13 in the second period to take a 34-22 advantage at the half. Leading the scoring surge for the Bulldogs in the second quarter were Jaylin Burns and Draymond Morris who poured in five and seven points, respectively.
