Officials Cut Ribbon To Open District 4 Multipurpose Building & Senior Center

The grand opening of the District 4 multipurpose building and senior citizen center, located across River Road from the Convent Courthouse, was dedicated Wednesday evening.

 

St. James Parish President Timmy Roussel told those in attendance that the $4 million building was fully funded by grants and “not one penny came from local taxpayer funds”. He said the combination recreation and senior center “is one of the premier buildings in St. James Parish”.
