Snakes Reported At Sixth Ward Elementary; Measures Being Taken To Remedy Problem

Parents whose children attend Sixth Ward Elementary received a letter last Friday from Kimberly Gales-Johnson, the school’s principal, alerting parents that there were two snake sightings at the school in the past week. According to the letter sent to parents and guardians, each time snakes were found, no students were present and that the serpents were caught, removed from the school and immediately killed.
