Local Boxer Captures National Title

Amateur boxer Trey “The Truth” Alexander is bringing a national title back to Houma. Alexander, a 22-yearold Houma native, won the national title in the 141-pound weight class at the USA Boxing-sanctioned 2016 National Police Activities League Boxing Championships on Friday in Oxnard, Calif.
