Old Vacherie Hospital Finally Meets Its Maker

Vacherie resident Stephan Keller has become a hero on the West Bank. Keller recently purchased the old, dilapidated Vacherie Hospital located on Highway 20 and is currently in the process of demolishing the building. Ridding the area of this “Eye Sore” has been on the bucket list of elected officials and the public for many years. According to Keller, he will sell the building’s metal as scrap and then plans to subdivide the property and sell lots to hopefully bring new business to the Vacherie area.
