Wingate Reaches 1,000-Point Milestone

Senior guard Jaylon Wingate of the Lutcher Bulldogs notched the 1000th point of his prep career. His 15-point outburst wasn't enough though as the Thibodaux High Tigers registered a 70-57 victory in a non-district contest. The Bulldogs moved out to a 15-9 first quarter lead behind the scoring of Wingate, Brendon Taylor and Maddie Tharrin who each poured in four points apiece in the period.
