Zelma J. Vicknair

Zelma J. Vicknair, age 94, passed away on June 12, 2018. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia V. Carter (Eugene) son, Phillip M. Vicknair, Sr. (Jo Ann), and sister, Mary Lee Impastato. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Vicknair; parents, Julius and Pauline Troxler Jacob. (She was raised by Ernest and Margaret Landry); brothers, Julius “Jake” Jacob, Jr., and Joseph “Lee” Jacob. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Scott David Carter, Amanda Martinez (Sean), Phillip M. Vicknair, Jr. (Shannon), Jake Robert Vicknair (Kaini), and Trichelle Rauch (Darrel) as well as greatgrandchildren: Emily and Evan Martinez, Collin Vicknair, Breyla and Logan D’Antoni, Remi Vicknair, Westin and Jaidyn Ferguson, Ty Rauch and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation in her honor was on Monday, June 18, 2018 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial with interment in the church cemetery.
