Gayle P. Borne

Gayle P. Borne, known as “BaBorne” to many and as Paw Paw to a special few, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at the age of 79. He was a resident of Gramercy and a native of Paulina. He is the beloved husband of Marie Guillot Borne for 56 years, his children Debie Zeringue (Jonathan) and Tessa Kinler. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; Corey Zeringue, Chelsey Jenkins, Skyler Hoppe, and Presley Roussel as well as 2 great-grandchildren; Kynli and Kylah Jenkins. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dora Borne; brother, Edward Borne, Jr. and sister, Shirlie Troxclair and 1 granddaughter, Katie Kinler. He retired from Kaiser Alumina after 33 years of employment, and was a member of the St. James Boat Club. A memorial visitation in his honor will be on Friday, June 15, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by a Catholic Memorial Mass.
