James Anthony, was born on February 6, 1944 and passed away on May 30, 2018. He is a native of Portland, Oregon and a resident of LaPlace. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Millicent “Mitzi” Jantzen Anthony; his children, Gretchen Benoit (Randy), Leigh McMath (Jason), and Victor Wall (Kasey). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jade, Amber, Austin, Angelle, Derrick, Caleb, Joshua, McRae, Owen, Parker, Camille, and Eli as well as great-grandchildren: Jada, Alyah, Levi, Ella, and Lily. James attended Southeastern and UNO Universities. He served in the United States Army as a SGT. in Company D of the 20th Special Forces Group. He was a life time salesman of industrial and medical supplies. A visitation in his honor was on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at ROSE LYNN FUNERAL SERVICES, 1870 Cabanose Ave., Lutcher, LA from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation resumed at the funeral home on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by a religious service.
