Our Lady of Peace Mural Painter Milo Piuz Dead At 93

Francois Emilio (Milo) Piuz, who created the beautiful mural of St. John the Baptist baptizing Jesus in the River Jordan on a wall at Our Lady of Peace Church in Vacherie, died August 26, 2017.

Piuz was born in Switzerland in 1924 and died at his Geneva, Switzerland home at age 93.
