Bulldogs End Season With Six Game Win Streak, Qualify For Playoffs
The Lutcher Bulldog baseball team enters the Class 4A state playoffs beginning this week on a hot streak. The Bulldogs won their last six games in the regular season, including a sweep over Plaquemine in District 6-4A play. Lutcher will be seeded No. 6 in the Class 4A playoff bracket and hosted No. 27 Buckeye in the opening round on
Tuesday, April 24 at 6:00 p.m. (a story to follow in next week’s edition). The winner advances to the regional round facing the winner between Northwood/Livonia in a best of 2 of 3 games.
