Councilman Seat And Town Sales Tax Increase On This Saturday’s Ballot

Some, but not all, St. James Parish registered voters will vote this Saturday, March 24th.
Voters in the St. James Parish Council’s 6th District will elect a permanent Councilman and voters in Lutcher and Gramercy will decide whether or not to approve a sales tax increase.
Concerning the Councilman’s race, only voters in District 6 will vote to permanently replace former Councilman Ken Brass, who was elected last year to serve as the District 58 member of the Louisiana House of Representatives
