Council And DHR Continue To Look For Ways To Improve And Meet Housing Needs

Of the twenty-one items on the St. James Parish Council meeting agenda last week, more than half pertained to various Department of Human Resources (DHR) programs.
One resolution acknowledges that the 2017 Community Needs Assessment done in the Parish by DHR ranked housing as the top concern or need of residents, specifically the need for affordable housing and home repairs.
