Marie Marse Abreo

Marie Marse Abreo, our sweet, caring, and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, left us peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the age of 91. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, John E. Abreo; her son, Dale P. Abreo; her granddaughters, Monique Abreo, Michelle Abreo Gutchess, Adrienne Abreo Fernandez (Don), her grandson, Michael P. Abreo (Staci) and 10 great-grandchildren: Riley, Alexa, Blakeley, Declan, Chloe, Phoebe, Lola, Cruz, Preston, and Lincoln. She is preceded in death by her eldest son, John E. Abreo, Jr. Marie retired from Entergy. She was devoted to her family and community. She always saw the good in others and would generously go to any length to help those in need. A visitation in her honor was held Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy, LA from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial.
