Clifford Joseph LeBlanc, age 82, was born on December 15, 1935 and passed away on January 10, 2018 at the Carpenter House in Baton Rouge, LA after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Catherine Lambert LeBlanc; a son John and daughter, Jennifer LeBlanc (Jeff) as well as a granddaughter Ashley Tucker. He is preceded in death by his parents: Clement and Emily Oubre LeBlanc; brothers: Clement, Jr., Virgie (Jug), Harvey, Eugene (Pete), Ferdie, Sr.; sisters: Beatrice, Myrna, Rose, Jeannette and Ethel. He was an avid gardener, retired Lutcher Volunteer firefighter, and retiree from the St. James Parish School Board. He served in the U.S. Army. He owned and operated Sinclair Service Station in Lutcher. The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice and the Carpenter House. A visitation in his honor was on Friday, January 12, 2018 at ROSE LYNN FUNERAL SERVICES, 1870 Cabanose Ave., Lutcher, LA from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial followed at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2130 Rectory St., Paulina, LA at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment in the church cemetery.
