Three Qualify To Officially Replace Brass As District 6 Parish Councilman

When qualifying to become a candidate for the upcoming District 6 St. James Parish Council race officially closed last Friday, three candidates had put their names on the ballot.

A Primary Election will be held in March to permanently replace former District 6 Councilman Ken Brass, who was recently sworn in to represent District 58 in the Louisiana House of Representatives.

The special General Election to fill the unexpired seat will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018, and early voting will be held March 10th-17th (except for Sunday, March 11th) from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
