Sandra Lee Ann Deroche Ellis

Sandra Lee Ann Deroche Ellis (Schexnayder) was born on January 19, 1947 and passed away at her home on December 31, 2017. She is a native and resident of Gramercy, LA. She played numerous sports when she was young. She worked at St. James Bank and the hospital as a chef where she made many friends. She loved to cook and was an excellent chef. She lived in Georgia and Romania for a few years. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Mancuso and son, John D. Schexnayder; her loving grandchildren: Jaci (Jesse) and Kaci Mancuso, Gavin and Koby Schexnayder. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Eunice Roussel Deroche and her brother, Garen Paul Deroche and her husband, Charles Ellis. She is also survived by her loving Aunts whom she drank coffee with every morning: Joyce R. Bourgeois and Janice R. Millet; her sisters-in-law, Adaire Dunn and Jude Deroche; her nephew Ryan and niece Ashley. A visitation in her honor was at Rose Lynn Funeral Services, 1870 Cabanose Ave., Lutcher, LA from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 followed by a service at the funeral home.
