Board Receives Grant From Insurance Pool

The St. James Parish School Board was one of several school boards to receive a safety grant from the Louisiana Public School Risk Management Agency (LARMA).
Butsy Martin, of G. Martin Insurance, Inc. and one of the Board’s insurance brokers, said that in addition to the 7.5 percent rate decrease for general liability and fleet coverage, the Board will soon receive a $20,913.00 check based on its financial investment in the insurance pool.
