Janie Sibley Milano

Janie Sibley Milano went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at the age of 97. She was the beloved matriarch of five generations and a long-time member of House of Praise Church where she was cherished by her church family. Janie is survived by her six children, Brenda M. Arnold, Barbara Milano, Diann M. Walker (Carl), Pamela M. Pollet (Paul), Jann M. Sandlin (Brad) and Tim Milano (Jennifer); 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Janie is preceded in death by her two husbands Charles Joseph Milano and Lowell Burt Barker; her parents, Nathaniel “Nat” and Lenora “Nora” Sibley; brothers, Lee, Morrison, Louis, John, Will “Sharp” and David Sibley; 3 infant brothers; son-in-law, Robert L. Arnold; and granddaughter-in-law, Nicole L. Walker. Visitation was held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Friday, November 17, 2017, from 9:30AM until the time of funeral services at 12:00PM.
