Wildcats Make Late Game Comeback To Take Down Rams

The St. James Wildcat football team scored three unanswered touchdowns in the final period to secure a comefrom- behind 36-33 victory over the West St. John Rams in the regular season opener for both teams. St. James saw its offense struggle through the first half marred by penalty flags, turnovers and inconsistent execution to trail 27-12 at the break.

But the Wildcat roared back in the second half scoring18 straight points that led to its 36-33 win. "To be honest with you, I don't know how we won the game." said a bewildered head coach Robert Valdez, who made his first appearance in Edgard after being the head mentor at West St. John for several years
