Grace Roussel Taylor

Grace Roussel Taylor, age 92, was born on June 26, 1925 and passed away on July 19, 2017 in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a native of Paulina and a resident of Baton Rouge. She is survived by her son, John Michael Taylor and wife Angela; 3 grandchildren: Ave´ Lamm, Alicia Kennard, and Amanda Taylor as well as 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Eleanor St. Pierre Roussel; brothers: Shirley “Nego” Roussel, Robert Emmett Roussel, Francis Roussel, and Charles Roussel as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Grace was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many. Grace was a retired secretary from Freeport Chemical. She was a member of Riverside Academy Board of Directors, Ladies Altar Society and Catholic Daughters. A visitation in her honor was on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy from 10:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial and interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Paulina, LA.
