4-H Shooting Sports Members Headed To Daisy Nationals Competition

The team of seven traveled to Rogers, Arkansas on June 30-July 2 to compete in the largest 5-meter BB gun match in the nation.

The BB division is the only team event in state. Teams that place in the top three qualify to represent Louisiana at Daisy Nationals. One of St. James two state teams placed 1st overall and the other placed 3rd overall, however; St James could only take one team to nationals.

The BB team includes Yumi Domangue (SPC), Michaela Poche (LHS), Austin Martin (SPC), Garrett Miculek (LHS), Brynn Furgeson (SPC), Joshua LeBoeuf (SPC), and Melanie Louque (LHS).
