Bryon J. Becnel

Bryon J. Becnel, age 62, was born on June 23, 1955 and passed away on June 28, 2017 at Ochsner Medical Center, Kenner. He is survived by his wife, Geralyn Hymel Becnel; his mother, Mary Agnes Folse; children: Heidi Martinez (Robby), and Shawn Becnel; brothers: Larry Becnel, David Becnel and Timmy Becnel, and sister Adelaide; his granddaughter, Allie Martinez, as well as his mother-in-law, Teen Hymel. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles S. Becnel; brothers: James, and Charles Becnel; sister: Anne Palazzolo, father-in-law, Kelsey “Pop” Hymel and grandson, Ty Martinez. A visitation in his honor was on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie from 8:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial in the church cemetery.
