Small Business Honored

“Yes, we have a lot of big industry here in St. James Parish, but it is you - the small businesses of this parish - that are the backbone of our community and our economy,” St. James Parish President Timmy Roussel told the audience at the annual St. James Parish Small Business Appreciation Banquet held Tuesday evening at the St. James Parish Boat Club.

The yearly banquet is geared to honor and recognize small business, to provide a platform to promote networking, and to educate the Parish’s small business owners of programs and resources offered by the Parish and the State that help small businesses expand, prosper and even get off the ground.
