Community Leaders Participate In Keep LA Beautiful's "Leaders Against Litter" Event

In an effort to educate and involve community leaders in the fight against litter in Louisiana, Keep Louisiana Beautiful (KLB) and 27 affiliates including Keep St. James Parish Beautiful participated in a statewide litter- a-thon on March 10th which ended with a press conference in Baton Rouge announcing the results.

Seventeen bags of trash were collected by more than a dozen community leaders at the third annual "Leaders Against Litter" event, hosted by Keep St. James Parish Beautiful. Leaders Against Litter is a signature event created by KLB and supported by Volunteer Louisiana that gives local leaders the opportunity to demonstrate their support for keeping Louisiana beautiful by leading the charge against litter in our community.
