The St. James Wildcat Baseball team saw its season get under way last week with a trio of wins over Woodlawn, Ellender and Abbeville.

Against Woodlawn, the Wildcats registered a 14-4 victory.

St. James jumped out to a 2-0 first inning lead when Jared Tabor singled and Sean LeBeouf reached on an error that plated Tabor. Jonathon Tregre delivered a RBI double to drive in LeBeouf.

The Wildcats added a pair of runs in the second when one run was scored off a passed ball and then LeBeouf hit a sacrifice fly to center field to plate Mason Cazenave.

St. James increased its lead with four runs in the third when Kobie Fournier smacked a three-run RBI double and Beau Clement followed with a RBI double to make it 8-0.
