LHSAA Finalizes New Distric Plans

A new year has come and that means high school redistricting, the tedious process of placing schools in the correct classifications and districts based on student enrollment. The Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) began the process in November for its member schools and new plan will be finalized at the annual Convention set for January 25th-27th at the Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge, LA. There were few appeals, and only one led to significant change as the two-year classification plan goes into effect for the 2017-18 school year
