East And West Banks HonorDr. Martin Luther King, Jr

Former Lutcher mayor Rowdy Kennard Scott gave a rousing Martin Luther King Day speech for attendees at the Parish's East Bank celebration. Scott, a St. James High School math teacher, is also a recently ordained minister where he serves as the Youth Minister at his father's church, Lutcher's King Solomon Baptist Church led by Rev. Benjamin Scott. He spoke on the theme, “We come too far to turn around!”
