Merrill H. Gerstner

Merrill H. Gerstner, a former resident of Lutcher passed away December 14, 2016 in Connecticut at age 81. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Kristi and Roger Smith, 3 grandchildren: Russell Smith of Boston, MA, Trevor Smith of Seattle, WA, and Sydney Smith of Madison, CT. and 3 sisters Janet Carubba, Gretchen Bankston and Catherine Teijelo. He was preceded in death by his wife Amelie (Tootsie) Woods Gerstner and parents Henry and Verlin Boutte Gerstner. A mass of Christian burial was held January 1, 2017 at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Thibodaux, LA at 1:00 p.m. Burial was in church cemetery.
