Wildcats Suffer Three Straight Defeats

The St. James Wildcat Basketball team dropped a pair of games in the Green Devil Classic and also suffered a non-district loss to Cohen in game played last week. St. James participated in the Plaquemine tournament falling to the host school Plaquemine by a 76-57 score.
The Green Devils outscored St. James in the first half building a 37-21 advantage. St. James cut the deficit under double digits in the third quarter, but Plaquemine was able to maintain its lead by hitting key baskets down the stretch to secure the win.
