Dear readers,
My good friend and co-worker Pamela Folse actually wrote the story you are about to read, but as your Editor, I just wanted to offer my thoughts and feelings toward the following story.
I don’t know about you, but as we flip the calendar and begin a new year, I’ve always paused to reflect on the previous year. When I do this, I look at my many experiences and take a personal inventory, which is a great way to learn valuable lessons. I try to identify my character defects (where had I been selfish, dishonest, arrogant, close-minded, controlling, greedy, impatient, judgmental, etc.) and resolve to be better in the coming year than in the past.
