With Victory Over Amite, 2016 Bulldogs Can Do What No Former Bulldog Team Has Done - Win Back-to-Back State Championships

When the Lutcher Bulldog football team takes the field at the Mercedes Benz Superdome this Saturday at noon, they will attempt to do something no previous team has done in the school’s 91 year history - win back-to-back State Championships. The 2016 Bulldogs have already accomplished something no other team has done and that is making it to the title game in back-to-back seasons. Three former state championship teams have reached the semi-finals the following year, but none have had the opportunity to defend their title.
