Asst. Financial Director Pleads Not Guilty To Two Counts Of Malfeasance In Office

St. James Parish Assistant Financial Director Ashley Poché, who was indicted by a St. James Parish Grand Jury in September on two counts of Malfeasance in Office, appeared at the Convent Courthouse and pleaded not guilty to both counts.
Following a joint investigation conducted by 23rd Judicial District Attorney Ricky Babin’s office and Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry’s office, on September 28, 2016, Poché, along with St. James Parish President Timmy Roussel and St. James Director of Operations Blaise Gravois, were indicted by a St. James Parish Grand Jury on Malfeasance in Office charges.
