Dale “Dee Jay” Gordon

Dale “Dee Jay” Gordon an assistant manager at Family Dollars Store # 3750 departed this life on Thursday, October 27, 2016. He was the son of Deborah Harry and Dale A. Gordon; Brother of Quashana Stewart, Danielle Johnson and Jarrun Hilaire; Uncle of Tyree, Ryleigh, Rhiyan and Romalis Hilaire, Ja’Llya and Ja’Llyr Stewart and Christian Robertson. Also survived by his Guardians Leo Smith and Kevin Johnson; mentor 1st Sgt. William Alsobrook; Godparents Albert Jackson and Sarah Lawson and a host of aunts, uncle, other relatives and friends. A Celebration of life was held on Friday, November 4, 2016 at11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 13281 Hwy. 644 Vacherie, LA. Visitation began at 8:30 a.m. Interment was in the church cemetery. Hobson Brown Funeral Home in Garyville was in charge of arrangements.
