First Round Of Public Recreation Plan Meetings Held

Last week local citizens met on both sides of the river in order to hear ideas regarding St. James Parish’s recreational master plan. The master plan, when completed, is the document that will govern or control recreational activity within the parish. It will detail what sports are held at what locations or whether the parish has one park on each of its east and west banks. Ultimately, it serves as a guidance plan that will control recreation within the parish.
