High School Students Get A Real JumpStart

Last Friday, roughly 30 Lutcher and St. James high school ninth and tenth graders gathered in the Public Relations building in Lutcher for breakfast and to celebrate getting a “JumpStart” on their careers. The students, many joined by their parents at the breakfast, are participating in the St. James Parish School District’s JumpStart program, which is geared to prepare students.
