Harold Mitchell, Jr., a native and resident of Lutcher, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 9:50 p.m., at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was 78. Survived by his wife, Emily Anthony Mitchell. A daughter, Patrice Mitchell Johnson and Husband, Damon Wayne Johnson. His two grandsons, Julian Anthony and Jacoby Aidan Johnson. Sisters: Beatrice Williams, Melba Batiste, Rubenstein (Reginald) Clark, Myrtle, Marvel and Julia Mitchell and Angela (Malcolm) Songy. Brothers: Floyd (Cynthia) Mitchell and Elder Emil D. (Beatrice) Mitchell. Sisters-In-Law: Brenda Mitchell, Gaymelda Pittman and Dorothy Anthony. Brothers-In-Law: Elton (Armatine) Anthony, Leroy, Sr. (Barbara) Anthony, and Joseph Valsin. Four Godchildren: Myrtle Mitchell, Kinley Porter, Rev. Paul Taylor and David Mitchell, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Other Relatives And Friends. Preceded in death by his parents: Harold Mitchell, Sr., and Julia Ross Mitchell. His Father and Mother-In-Law, Wilbert Anthony and Lena James Anthony. His Son, Julian Anthony Mitchell. Three Brothers: Herman, Morris and Gary Mitchell. His Godson, Harold Vance, Brothers-In-Law, Abraham Williams, Howard Batiste and Clarence Anthony. A Sister In Law: Anna Bell Valsin. Visiting on Friday, July 8, 2016 At King David Baptist Church, 2329 N. King Avenue, Lutcher, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church, July 9, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until religious services at 11:00 a.m., conducted by the Rev.
