School Board Fails To Fill District 6 Vacancy; Now The Governor Must

After two more attempts, the St. James Parish School Board on Tuesday, May 10th, was unable to break the stalemate to reach a majority vote and name a member for District 6. Last week the Board cast five rounds of ballots and was unable to break the tie between Freida Boughton and Dolores Florent.
