LeJeanne Borne Luke, age 53 entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Ochsner Medical Center Jefferson. Daughter of the late Carrie Lee and Christopher Borne, Sr. Devoted wife of Lionel Luke. Mother of Lynell and Lionel Beckett. Grandmother of Landyn Beckett. Sister of Yvette (Renaldo) Stewart, Jill (Melvin) White, Valecia (Jerry) Colton, Christopher, Jr., Reginald, and the late Nia Lynn and Meldon Borne. Also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, staff of Metropolitan Dialysis Center, Ochsner Nero Science Critical Care Unit, First Baptist Church were invited to attend her celebration of life on Friday, February 5, 2016 for 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Catholic Church, 1175 Highway 18, Vacherie, La. Visitation was from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Father Christopher Decker officiated. Private burial. Care of my wife was entrusted only to the professionalism of The Baloney Funeral Home.
